EnergyMax Silicone Coating 5G White is a high-solids, solvent-based, single-component silicone roof coating that cures upon exposure to moisture.


Uses:

  • Primary Use:  Suitable for concrete,  asphalt built-up, modified bitumen, single-ply (EPDM, TPO) membranes, and sprayed polyurethane foam roofs.
  • Secondary Use: ideal for metal roofs, offering superior protection and durability

  • Ready to use; no thinning required. Ensure thorough mixing before application.
  • Apply to clean, dry roofs free of oil, grease, dirt, or loose coatings. Conduct compatibility tests on bare surfaces.
  • Follow specific roof restoration procedures and conduct adhesion tests as recommended.
  • Equipment: roller, spreader, or 4000psi, 3gpm airless sprayer with a .031 tip.
  • Allow 24 hours between coats.
  • Use BUNA-N jacketed hoses for moisture protection. Avoid leaving coating in spray guns, hoses, or pumps for extended periods.
  • Do not apply within 3 hours of sunset, if rain is expected, or when the temperature is 45°F and falling.
  • Clean Up: VM&P Naphtha, Mineral Spirits
  • Color: White
  • Coverage: 1.0 gallon per 100 square feet; 2 coats recommended for a total of 25-30 dry mils
  • Elongation: 249% ± 50
