SeamStitch Fabric is a stitch-bonded reinforcing fabric that increases the tear resistance of roof coatings in high-stress and high-shear areas. It ensures long-lasting durability and improved protection for your roofing projects.


Uses

  • Clean the application area thoroughly, removing all dust, debris, and loose materials. Allow the surface to dry completely.
  • Measure and cut SeamStitch Fabric to the required size using scissors or a utility knife, ensuring pieces are slightly larger than the areas to be reinforced.
  • Apply a generous layer of roofing coating to the prepared surface, then place the cut pieces of fabric onto the wet coating, pressing firmly to ensure full contact and adhesion.
  • Use a roller or brush to smooth out the fabric, eliminating wrinkles and air bubbles. Overlap strips by at least 2 inches for a seamless reinforcement.
  • Apply another layer of roofing coating over the fabric, ensuring it is fully saturated and covered. Allow the coating to dry and cure per the manufacturer’s instructions, typically 24 to 48 hours.
