SeamStitch Polyurethane Caulk is a high-solids, single-component, moisture-cure, solvent-based polyurethane roof sealant known for its outstanding protection and durability. Its elastomeric nature allows it to expand and contract with temperature fluctuations, ensuring reliability in any climate.


Uses

  • Primary Use: Seals fasteners, seams, laps, and flashings before applying elastomeric roof coatings. 
  • Secondary Use: Offers superior adhesion and corrosion resistance on metal and modified bitumen roofs, while maintaining a leak-free surface on single-ply and sprayed polyurethane foam roofs.

  • Apply using a brush, roller, or spray equipment based on the project's requirements, ensuring even and thorough coverage.
  • Apply the caulk when the temperature is between 45°F and 95°F and the relative humidity is below 85% to ensure proper curing.
  • Apply the caulk in layers, allowing 24 hours of drying time between coats, at a rate of 1.5 gallons / 100SF per coat.
  • Clean tools with Xylene immediately after use and ensure proper ventilation and protective gear during application to avoid inhaling fumes and contact with skin.
