EnergyGuard SEBS SP Base 5G Light Yellow is a high-performance, solvent-based, single-component elastomeric base coat designed to protect and extend the life of various roof types, providing a durable, flexible membrane that adapts to temperature changes.


Uses:

  • Primary Use: Ideal for sloped roofs such as asphalt built-up, offering robust protection and extending the service life of the roof.
  • Secondary Use: Suitable for modified bitumen, single-ply (EPDM, TPO) membranes, and sprayed polyurethane foam roofs, ensuring versatile application across various surfaces.

  • Stir thoroughly before use.
  • Apply with a roller or airless sprayer.
  • Allow 24 hours between coats.
  • Do not apply within 3 hours of sunset, if rain is expected, or when the temperature is 45°F and falling.
  • The application can be done DIY with the right tools, but hiring a contractor ensures professional results.

  • Coverage: 1 gallon per 100 square feet yields 7.2 dry mils. Up to 1.5 gallons / 100SF per coat. Recommended 2-3 coats, 25-30 dry mils.
  • Elongation: 350% ±50%
  • VOC: Less than 50 grams per liter
  • Solids by Volume: 68%
  • Shelf Life: 12 months at 40°F-90°F
